Proper Formatting for Titles and Artists

Guidelines for capitalizing names and formatting features.

To prevent delivery failures, your metadata must follow standard casing guidelines.

Guidelines:

• Capitalization: Use Title Case (e.g., "The Midnight Sun"). Do not use ALL CAPS ("THE MIDNIGHT SUN") or lowercase ("the midnight sun") unless it is a verified, consistent brand choice. Random capitalization (e.g., "ThE mIdNiGhT sUn") will be rejected automatically.
• Featuring Artists: Do not include featuring artists in the track title field. Use the dedicated "Primary" or "Featuring" artist fields in the portal. The system will format it correctly for the stores (e.g., Artist A feat. Artist B).
