General Artwork Requirements

What are the basic requirements for my release cover art?

To distribute your music to major platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, your artwork must meet strict industry standards. If your cover art does not comply, your release will be put on hold.

Technical Specifications:

  • Format: JPEG, JPG, or PNG
  • Dimensions: Exactly 3000x3000 (Perfect Square)
  • Resolution: 300 DPI (highly recommended)
  • Color Mode: RGB

Quick Rules:

  • No blurry, pixelated, or low-quality images.
  • Do not upscale smaller images to 3000x3000 (this makes them blurry).
  • Do not include URLs, social media handles, barcodes, or streaming store logos.
